Site Supervisors

Kaitlin Corporation is seeking experienced Site Supervisors for our new construction sites, located in Bowmanville, Ontario. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Site Superintendent with a GTA new home builder. Candidates must have experience in a high volume construction build, be detailed orientated with excellent organizational skills and have their own vehicle.

Project Manager

We are seeking a seasoned candidate to join our Head Office team located in Stouffville, Ontario.  The Project Manager will manage our low-rise communities that are currently in the early stages of construction.  The successful individual will have 7+ years of experience with a GTA builder, overseeing high production projects including condominium townhomes and stacked townhome products. This position will report directly to our VP of Construction.

 

The seasoned Project Manager shall work with our construction teams, trades and consultants to ensure that project construction is executed in a timely and efficient manner.  The candidate is responsible for all aspects of project management including but not limited to:

 

  • start up, obtaining and review of working drawings (including HVAC and truss layouts)
  • assist with building permits, as required
  • develop scope of work
  • prepare tenders, budgets, estimates, preparation of contracts
  • manage trade issues
  • prepare and monitor construction schedules
  • liaise with Municipality, as required
  • site coordination and scheduling
  • technical audits and Bulletin 19 requirements
  • attend and conduct site trade meetings

 

The candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Strong administration, organization and management skills;
  • Thorough knowledge of the OBC, Tarion Warranty Corporation technical audits, Bulletin 19 requirements, and working drawings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

Estimator

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Head Office team located in Stouffville, Ontario.  Some of the responsibilities include preparation and review scopes of work for all trades/projects; tendering all projects; preparation, distribution and review of contracts; entering contracts into Newstar; ensuring all drawings are kept up to date and distributed to sites and trades; review and follow up with extras to contracts; price purchaser extras and design custom floor plans (when required); track and monitor sub-trade invoices; coordinate and problem solve with Site Supervisors (scope of work, materials, general issues); assist with obtaining pre construction approvals, preparation of packages for submission; coordinate drawings with consultants and architects for permit applications; assist in registration process.

Purchaser Relations Liaison

We are seeking an experienced Purchaser Relations Liaison to join our Head Office team located in Stouffville, Ontario.  Our Purchaser Relations Liaison is our customer service contact for all Purchasers prior to closing. Some of the responsibilities include responding to all Purchaser inquiries (via fax, email, letter, voicemail, phone calls) from the time that the agreement becomes firm up until the home closes; assisting with responding to site and trade inquiries about the homes while they are under construction; processing new agreements into Newstar and distribution of paperwork; preparation of addendums, amendments, releases, written correspondence to Purchasers prior to closing; extension letters.
