Customer Care Coordinator - Bowmanville

Kaitlin Corporation is currently looking for a knowledgeable and experienced customer care coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years’ construction background experience with a new home builder, working knowledge of Tarion’s guidelines & procedures including the Construction Performance Guidelines and Newstar computer experience. Candidates must be team players, possess excellent verbal, written and organizational skills, proficient in MS Office and able to work in a fast paced environment.

Land Development/Architectural Assistant - Bowmanville

Kaitlin Corporation is seeking a Land Development/Architectural Assistant.

The candidate will:

  • Work closely with our development consulting team on scope of work, design criteria, budget and schedule creation, project progress reporting, including communication with contractors/consultants, and contract administration.
  • Implement and maintain procedures and processes as it relates to forms, approvals, and submissions for all planning and development applications under the Planning Act.
  • Work through process of satisfying conditions for Draft Plan of Subdivision, Rezoning, Site Plan, and Draft Plan of Condominium applications, including discussions and meetings with agency staff at various levels of Government.
  • Update project schedules to ensure accurate timeliness in accordance with the project notifications.
  • Take part in the public consultation process; design, attend and help facilitate public information meetings that include residents of the community, project stakeholders, municipal officials and others.

 

The candidate should:

  • Have strong organizational, analytical, communication and time management skills as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Be willing to travel and attend council or committee meeting outside regular work hours.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access), Outlook and MS Project.
  • Have a University degree in land use planning, civil, architecture or similar.
  • Have proven ability to amend architectural drawings using AutoCAD, Autodesk Revit, and SketchUp 3D modeling software programs.
  • Have an understanding of building components, construction methodologies and Ontario Building Code.

Estimator / Contracts / Project Manager - Bowmanville

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in either low-rise or mid-rise residential developments in Ontario.

  • Assist with the preparation & maintenance of project budgets
  • Assist with the preparation and input of contracts into Newstar
  • Assist with invoicing review and back charge processing
  • Assist with take offices and costing exercises
  • Assist with drafting subcontractor scope of work
  • Assist with trade tendering and update as required
  • Preparation of tender package and drawing sets; quotation and pricing analysis
  • Sourcing products/ trades and maintain office trade reference book
  • Communication with multiple facets of the Kaitlin Team and external trades
